#kink #shibari

A few years ago a Romanian artist named Navi released a song 🎵 entitled "Picture Perfect".

The song is quite pleasant to listen to. However I found the video clip -- which is strictly speaking rated SFW -- highly imaginative :ms_wink:

PS: the video clip seems to have been the reason why it was banned on Romanian television...

Rule 37 and 38

37) There are no girls 👧 on the internet.
38) A cat :ms_cat_smile: is fine too!

Fishing FAQ: the length and strength of your pole nor the length of your casted line has any influence on what you catch. The only thing that may be of help, is the size of your bobber, which will increase your chances at catching something.
Rereading what I wrote, I suddenly realize this may sound kind of ambiguous. :ms_confused:

#kink #bdsm Mindfuck

A mindfuck is a (very) strong form of mindplay, in which a sub's mind is intentionally convinced and misdirected. If successful the sub's mind will convince their own mind and body about the severity of sensations that aren't there (or completely different).

e.g. telling a sub you will be playing with a knife, showing the knife before blindfolding the sub, start touching the skin with the blunt side of the knife or with a frozen credit card.
Or telling a sub they will be branded, showing them all necessary instruments, blindfolding them, setting a small butane burner alight and after a few minutes touching the sub's skin with a cold iron.

Caution: this kind of scene also requires some serious and intense aftercare because of a hefty emotional discharge.

Mindplay (3 of 3)

Where mindplay differs from hypnosis: the sub is always conscious before, during and after. The sub knowingly receives the suggestion and is the sole actor who can install/accept the necessary change of thought and behaviour. With hypnosis there is an outside source that tries to influence or change a future state of mind/behaviour. While hypnosis can be a useful tool during a scene, it is and always will be *less powerful* than mindplay.

Personally I find it altogether more interesting, fun (and challenging) to convince a sub's mind about something, to alter her state of mind than having to resort using hypnosis.

PS: the confusion between mindplay and hypnosis comes from book titles by Mark Wiseman, such as"Mind Play: a guide to erotic hypnosis" and "The Mind Play Study Guide"

Mindplay (2 of 3)

2. Humiliation: being instructed to do certain tasks (in public). Humiliation is a strong mindgame in itself, but it can backfire if you ask too much (at the same time). e.g. kneeling, wearing no underwear when in public, sending a sub to a pet shop for a new collar, ...
3. Role play: when a sub identifies so strongly in a (chosen) role, it can not only trigger their imagination, but also start of process of deep emotional empathy and identification with the character.
4. Edge play: activities that could be detrimental to the sub's health. e.g. knife play (or cutting), fire play, breath play.

Caution: play with someone's mind carefully. Though one can do mindplay over long distances, it is recommended not to. If you suspect that your sub will lose rational control: halt the scene immediately!

In any case plan for aftercare: you will **need** to guide the sub coming out gently of the scene.

Mindplay (1 of 3)

Someone recently compared "mindplay" to hypnosis. They are not the same!

Simply put: mindplay is the subtle "art" (yes, it is an art!) to influence, (re)direct, introduce, suggest certain thoughts, expectations or images in a sub. Mindplay is almost always present during a bdsm scene - any scene actually. Just before a Dom/me and a sub start a scene, they prepare themselves mentally. That's one form of mindplay. But mindplay can enhance a scene as well. e.g. by using a blindfold. Or making a sub wait for something to happen. Or by whispering a sub in his/her ear during a scene.
"BDSM is between your ears" says it all. We all do it.

Mindplay can be categorized in 4 main categories:
1. Misleading or threatening games (the real mindplay). Tell a sub in advance of all kinds of things that could happen without specifying exactly what you have planned. Your sub's imagination will play a game with itself. Ignorance is a Dom/me's advantage.

@skematica You should check out @FantasyDabblers bondage pictures if you haven't done so already: some of them are really fabulous!

Nope -- my toot was meant to be a response to Pixel Daddy's "Hot horny singles in your area" toot. When I posted it I had an "unforeseen error" popping up, so I reloaded the web UI and pasted the message... 😖

Ow? Have you been negotiating sponsorship from secondlove.com for k.b?
Sgt will be surprised as well as happy! 😂

misunderstood underestimated fetish

If there ever was a a misunderstood and underestimated fetish, this is surely it! :ms_wink_tongue:

One of the most remarkable and commented musical performances of Tomorrowland 2019, was a symphonic rendition of Eric Prydz' Opus by the "Symphony of Unity" (a classic orchestra from Belgium)

Take your time to observe the (sometimes huge) smiles of the classic performers, or the tentative dance moves of the choir. 😂

#sexuality Study

Study

"Sexual diversity in the United States: Results from a nationally representative probability sample of adult women and men"

This study attempts to do a statistical analysis of the sexual diversity (sexual orientation, relationship structure, sexual behavior).
Results on sexual orientation, solo and partnered sexual behaviors, sexual behaviors involving enhancement products and/or media, social sexual experiences, appeal of sexual behaviors, and relationships between appeal and behaviors are tabulated and discussed.

So yes: it is a "boring" statistical analysis. But it does give a pretty good picture of how sexually diverse the general population in the US is. The sample group could have been larger. But all in all quite an interesting read...

I've seen quite a lot of "rule books", "protocol lists" or even "manuals of behavior" for subs on the net. Some of them even extended to a dozen pages or so.

But Eadarainn's "protocol and ritual manual" is almost a book of etiquette on itself.

Here is a shorter set of rules:
lovehonorobey.me/rules/

Should Dommes/Doms have a written set of rules for their subs? If so: a short one or an extensive one such as the example above? Or should everything be negotiatable?

Is there an ethical alternative to make a public poll?

Sites such as poll-maker.com, surveymonkey.com and strawpoll.me all use google analytics as well as (hidden) FB features...

body modification - body "modding" - BM(E)

One of my contacts, a Dutch tattoo artist, recently told me one of his customers requested a "hanabira". At first he thought it was about a tattoo of a beer bottle. :ms_confused: After researching it, he forwarded the customer to a BME specialist colleague.

Hanabira is originally an ancient form of decorative scarring of the pubic mound (mons pubis). Most common is the use of floral patterns or family emblems (monsho). To keep the incisions from simply growing together, wound healing is intentionally delayed so that a visible scar develops after some time!
