re: lewd, no eyes, me in my underwear

@assdemon your shirt would be much better if it just said "eating animals is bad"

@dtluna how is the word “weird” directly affiliated with the shaming and rejection of queer and trans people to the extent that using it in a context that is not remarking on either community is inherently phobic or derogatory toward both?

@assdemon “those queers better stay away from me, they’re weird” I hear shit like that at work regularly.

@dtluna It sounds like this is bothersome to you because of personal experience and attachments you’ve made with the word based on them.
I do resonate with that experience, by the way. I’ve been called weird my entire life; not only for my queerness(sexual- and gender-) status, but also for being noticeably neurodivergent. I don’t think it’s right to call people weird, to be clear on that as well. I certainly don’t enjoy it, it feels dehumanizing.

@dtluna while my initial take on this is that the context of the word-usage on this shirt in particular doesn’t bother me, because I don’t attach it to my experience of being called weird as a person for X-reasons stated previously, your bringing it up has sparked internal conversation, and I thank you for bringing it up.

@assdemon @dtluna repeated myself a little there at the end, but hopefully my intent was clear
