@mxsiege @Lord_Fine
There is hesitance to identify myself as a little, as many view it as an unhealthy form of retraumitization; something that is formed from toxicity. But, like many other forms of bdsm, DD/lg and it’s variant terms are often used for nefarious means, especially online. At the same time, people who process trauma in different ways may not experience this space as a healing one. But, in my experience, opposers also tend to view little-space as inherently sexual.

@assdemon @mxsiege To be honest: I've addressed a few subs as "little" (one was even taller than me), even one specifically as "little one" without implying they were in an age play relation. To me as a Dom it's just a term of endearment, same as "dear", "love", "sweet(ie)", ... and absolutely without sexual connotation.

It's all about the context!
Imho a sub can call him/her/themselves "little" because he/she/they want/need/love/crave the protectiveness (and intimate feeling of being care for) that comes during aftercare.

@Lord_Fine @mxsiege fair! Littles don’t have a monopoly on the word, likewise having childlike qualities or needing paternal care from a D-type doesn’t *necessarily* make a person a little. Then again, how that space is expressed and to what extent varies from person to person, I’m sure. Not everyone who’s into DD/lg looks like a tumblr princess.
