Thoughts on commodifying spirituality

People who charge hundreds & thousands of dollars to give other people spiritual upgrades & teach them how to heal & manifest... make me super uncomfortable. Why do only privileged/ wealth people deserve enlightenment? Why are you charging people for that? Sounds like a hoax. Anyone can heal themselves, and it doesn’t require hundreds of hours of therapy or hundreds of dollars for video-conference faith healing.

@assdemon it’s a testament to how intrinsically capitalism rules our lives for the worse, even outside of the physical realm, that people will use the spiritual journey to raise their own monetary status.
